Our location adjacent to the scarp face of the South Downs and close to the south coast is perfect for soaring on the up-draughts and lee waves from the Downs and riding the sea breeze fronts. We offer glider pilot lessons and introductory flight packages for potential new pilots or those just wishing to experience the thrill of gliding.
We own our own airfield adjacent to the Parham House Estate, with a well-equipped fleet of gliders, towplanes and ground vehicles. We also have a recently renovated clubhouse and classroom.
With a large team of instructors we teach people from age 13 to 80 and many of our members live in the Steyning, Henfield and Horsham areas. You just need to be physically fit and to love the idea of learning to fly!
