The Arts Society Henfield would like to invite you to their Day of Special Interest: "A Breath of Fresh Air: Glasgow Boys & Girls and The Scottish Colourists"
A long-delayed Day of Special Interest, welcomes Julia Marwood at last to enlighten the group about the Glasgow Boys & Girls who burst onto the scene in the 1880s, painting outdoors, and much influenced by American James McNeil Whistler. The Scottish Colourists followed, at the Glasgow School of Art under Francis Newbery.
There will be 3 lectures, with coffee/tea from 10.30-11.00am, a sandwich lunch with refreshments, concluding at 3.30pm.
