A naturally gifted draftsman, Hockney's love of ingenious visual devices has led him to experiment with a whole range of techniques. This lecture follows the career of an artist whose wit and imagination has never faltered.
The lecture at 2.30pm is preceded by the Society's AGM at 2.00pm.
New members are always welcome, annual subscription is £50 but if you join in October your subscription will carry you through to the end of 2027. Guests at £10 payable on the door. In addition to the 10 lectures your subscription covers, together with the quarterly magazine, you have access to The Arts Society website. There are study days and outings at extra cost.
