Birds, Bison and Bill Oddie

Wednesday 18th November 2026 at 19:30–21:30

Following on from David Plummers brilliant talk to Henfield Birdwatch on Owls in September, our next speaker is Marek Borkowski, a renowned conservationist and professional wildlife photographer from Poland. Marek set up the first private nature reserve in Poland and has had a huge impact in conserving species in that country. There is also a link to conservation in the UK as Marek introduced Konig ponies that he breeds on his land in Poland, these being excellent animals for grazing in wetlands and can now be seen on a number of reserves in this country including Sussex. He is a wonderful wildlife photographer and you will be amazed at some of the images you will see.
