Come and join the informal ‘Friday Friends’ to play short mat bowls. The game is basically the same as lawn bowls except that we keep dry even on wet days! A good place to come on a damp winter morning. We have four ‘mats’ which accommodate up to 32 players, so usually everyone that turns up gets a game. This is a really friendly group of bowls enthusiasts and the game is not expensive – we pay £3 for the morning, which includes coffee. We are not a formal club, but a cooperative group of enthusiastic and friendly players.
