The Friends of St Peter's Henfield will be celebrating its 30th Anniversary after the AGM to be held in Church at 7.00pm. Please note new date of Thursday 4th June.
Following our refreshments Alan Barwick, Curator of the Henfield Museum, will be giving an illustrated talk on the life and works of Margaret Fairless Barber Dowson, author of "The Roadmender", a work republished very many times. This young gifted woman's life was tragically cut short by illness 125 years ago whilst staying at Mockbridge House.
There will be a £5.00 charge on the door for Guests attending the talk. All are welcome.
The Friends of St Peter's raises funds to maintain the fabric of our historic parish church for future generations. Annual subscription £10 per person.
