Ever wondered how your local pub got its name? Well wonder no more!
You are warmly invited to an illustrated talk on 'Sussex Pub Signs' at Newtimber church Sunday 24th May, where our guest speaker Dr Janet Pennington will explain all!
Delicious cream teas will be served in the churchyard before the talk, between 2pm - 3pm and again after, between 4pm-5pm.
The talk starts at 3pm, but cream teas will be served before from 2pm and afterwards. The churchyard is a haven of rare wild flowers and creatures with a stunning view over Newtimber Hill. You are welcome to bring a picnic stool with you.
