It really wouldn’t be Christmas in Henfield without the wonderful Christmas Tree Festival brought to us by the Henfield Evangelical Free Church!
This year the festive fun takes place on Friday 9 December (5-9pm) and Saturday 10 December (10am-12pm and 5-7pm) where you’ll be able to admire the creative and festive talents of lots of local businesses, clubs, charities, families and individuals who want to show off their tree decorating skills. As well as the trees which will be displayed throughout the church, there will also be an appearance from Spooky the Donkey, Carol Singers and the Hand Bell Ringers. Refreshments will also be available.
The trees will be judged on the Friday evening under the following categories: Most Creative Tree; The Tree I would most like in my Home; and Best in Show and the results will be displayed on the Saturday. The trees will also stay up for the church‘s Christmas Tree Service which takes place on Sunday 11 December at 10.30am.
This festival is a free community event, but the Henfield Evangelical Free Church will be collecting money to support Tear Fund’s Pakistan Flood Relief charity.
