This Christmas, have fun with an interactive Henfield High Street trail with an exciting adventure story, and it’s all completely free!
As part of local Christmas celebrations, Henfield Community Partnership has teamed up with Horsham District Council and High Street Safari to run a free, augmented reality geo-game trail in Henfield. Grab a smart phone, get dressed up warmly and enjoy the fun!
The Hunt for the Lost Toys is located at ten stops around Henfield High Street, in your favourite shop windows. Families will be guided on their trip by ‘The Luminauts’; a team of superheroes as intrepid as you are, on an exciting interactive adventure as they find the lost presents and conclude the story.
The ‘Hunt for Lost Toys’ is an innovative experience which lets families choose what happens in the story and ‘release’ ‘the cheeky Christmas Imps at each stop and see them burst to life in augmented reality. You’ll find some of these mischievous characters on the cover of BN5 this month, they will appear right next to you to help you on your journey. Anyone with a smartphone can take part.
The trail takes about 45 minutes to complete, but it can be completed in more than one visit. You can twin the visit with your shopping or a look round some of our local gift shops, or perhaps reward yourself with a marshmallow hot chocolate in a local café when you’ve finished!
It’s completely free for families and groups to take part in and you’ll win a free, digital fun pack at the end.
