Hosted at Red Oaks Care Home, a weekly Community Sing-Along session, open to everyone.
No singing or music experience is necessary, the sessions are completely free and fun. There's tea, coffee and cake afterwards and the sessions are run by a professional music therapist.
The sessions are open to everyone to experience the joy of music and community in comfortable surroundings, and we encourage those who would love some company and friendship to come along, they'll receive a very warm welcome. The aim is to eventually create a Henfield Community Choir which is dementia friendly, too!
This initiative is brought to you by Nordoff & Robbins, the UK's largest music therapy charity, in association with Henfield Community Partnership.
This group is also linked to the Intergenerational Music Fun sessions also taking place at Red Oaks on Tuesday mornings (term-time) between 11am - 12 midday, which brings together pre-schoolers and their parents with the older generations.
If you love the magic of music, come and join us!
