Steyning & District U3A

Steyning & District u3a has over 400 members and 60 groups.  Our members come from Steyning, Ashington, Henfield, West Chiltington, Storrington and the surrounding areas.

We are an association of friendly interest groups run cooperatively by and for our members. Members pursue new interests, make new friends and enjoy learning at their own pace.

There are a great choice of groups to join. Our groups are informal and most meet in members’ homes fortnightly or monthly.  These include Arts and Crafts, Games. Languages, Current Affairs. Music, History, Technology and Literature. These groups are often quite small, consisting of between 6 and 12 members. Some active pursuits like Walking, Cycling or Bird Watching meet outdoors and cater for higher numbers.

Whilst u3a has a very informal structure and is run by members for members, there are also opportunities to join the Committee.
