The Arts Society Henfield invite you to join them for their talk on Chess and Conceptual Art by Rupert Dickens
Chess has been depicted in art from the early Middle Ages to Modernity - in modern times by painters as diverse as Matisse, Singer Sargent and Max Ernst - as well as in works of literature and the cinema. The group will learn the history of chess and its place in Conceptual Art.
This Lecture will be preceded by the Annual General Meeting at 2.00-2.30pm
