Lancing College invite you to join them for their Annual Friends of Lancing Chapel Festival.
The Annual General Meeting for members will take place in Chapel between 2.00pm and 2.30pm. From 2.30pm, the occasion is open to anyone who wishes to attend. It is an opportunity to celebrate and learn about the Chapel and to enjoy the Lancing choir. At 2.30pm in Chapel we shall hear our guest speaker, John Goodall, Architectural Editor of Country Life, talking about the Chapel. John is a distinguished architectural historian, author and commentator. At Easter this year he published two articles in Country Life, one about the College buildings and one about the Chapel on which he will elaborate at the festival. After the talk, there will be festal evensong at which the Ven Luke Irvine-Capel, Archdeacon of Chichester, will preach and the Lancing Choir will sing the service and an anthem. The usual excellent tea will be served at the end of the afternoon.
