Since the Henfield Shed opened in 2017 we have made a positive difference in the local community by helping to prevent loneliness and isolation for both men and women.
In September 2024 we moved from the High Street to a temporary location in Small Dole as, despite an extensive search, we were unable to find a permanent home in the village. Our members enjoy a fully equipped woodworking workshop where we regularly mend and repair items for residents and groups in the local community.
We provide a welcoming, supportive and listening environment where friendships can develop, skills can be learnt from one another and we also provide plenty of laughter. We also arrange 'away days' during the year.
The Shed meets four times a week on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday mornings from 09:30 - 12:30hrs.
If you are interested in coming to say hello anytime, you'd be welcome to join us for a cuppa. Either email or call us and someone will get back to you.
