Horsham's International Women's Day Concert

This year, Steyning-based Sussex Choir Cantatrice are celebrating women with an exciting concert, to be performed on 16 March at 7:30pm at The Drill Hall, Horsham.

With such a huge array of composers, literary artists, singers and iconic women to choose from you can expect a hugely varied concert featuring Clara Schumann, Petula Clarke and Sarah Quartel. The songs ‘I will survive’ and 'I am woman’, will also feature, alongside a nod to many female composers & singers who have made a significant mark in their artistic life.

We are incredibly proud to include Caroline Sharman-Mendoza to compliment and engage with the audience by presenting readings and quotes from an even wider selection of amazing women.
