Jazz in the Boneyard

Saturday 5th July 2025 at 19:00–21:30

The Mark Travers Project return with a slightly different line-up.

Mark will be the trumpet player, Luke Gasper, ex National Youth Choir and a trained professional actor will be lead vocalist. They will be joined by Jamie Salisbury, jazz pianist, TV and film composer, Oz Dechaine, superb double bassisst and Matt Hobson, Royal Marine trained percussionist and current drumkit teacher at Christ's Hospital.

Gates to the church will be open at 6.15pm for 7pm start. As always bring a picnic, chairs, rugs etc. Rick and Sally will be there with their Indian Street food stall. There will be ample parking, toilet, raffle and wine bar.

In other words, a really good evening's entertainment.

Friends of St Giles, Shermanbury hope it will be third year lucky. This event over the last two years has been driven indoors by the appalling weather. We also look forward to using the specially designed staging built by Julian Scott of Scott Engineering three years ago.

Tickets £17 (children under 16 free) from Marcus Grimes, High Street, Henfield.
