Join Sussex Rural Events for their Annual Ploughing Match & Countryside Exhibition.
The Ploughing Match is a contest where each person ploughs part of the field with their vintage tractor. Points are awarded for straightness and neatness of the furrows created. The Ploughing Match is only on Saturday 19th April, and takes place between 1-3pm.
The Exhibition, dating from the 1900's, is a private collection of all things rural, from vintage tractors, seed drills, wagons, vintage sheep shearing equipment, shoe making & carpentry tools, vintage lawnmowers, agricultural & horticultural tools. Plus much more. The Exhibition runs Saturday 19th - Monday 21st April.
