‘Undressing Antiques’ - an illustrated lecture with Mark Hill

Tuesday 17 June 2025, 19:00 doors open for drinks. Talk starts at 19:45

Mark Hill, a regular presenter on the BBC's Antiques Roadshow, comes to Steyning to deliver a special evening lecture for the Arts Society of Steyning.

This talk offers a fascinating introduction to buying antiques and suggests how you can integrate and enjoy them in today’s homes. The state of the antiques market and the different meanings of the word ‘value’ are explored, and Mark looks at what current and future generations of collectors are buying, why they are choosing those items and how they are displayed.

The talk is the third in an annual series remembering the society's founder, Millicent Honeywood.

Members of the Arts Society and visitors are welcome.

Tickets £12.50 and includes a glass of wine or a soft drink.
