HART donation from Arts and Crafts Fayre

19th December 2013

Henfield artists and craft experts have boosted the funds of HART with a fayre at the village hall. Organisers of the fayre, Tracy Smyth and Julie Mitchell, handed over a cheque for £252 to responders. Tracy said: “We have always supported this vital organisation which has been so crucial in saving so many lives in the area.” HART responders Sandra Parsons and Claire Greenfield gave lifesaving demonstrations during the fayre.

White Hart landlord Gyles Culver has received a heart defibrillator for the pub from HART. The wall-mounted machine is available for emergencies - and staff are receiving training in its use. “We have long been supporters of HART,” says Gyles. “We have a quiz every other Tuesday to help raise funds for them and it has become increasingly important for us to have a defibrillator that is available on the High Street and in the case of emergencies here.”
