Mad Hatter Children’s Trail
The Mad Hatter is in a dreadful muddle. Can you help him find his lost Tea Party treasures in Henfield’s shops?
Collect your entry form from local shops and the Henfield Library and look in the shops marked with the Mad Hatter logo on the door for Tea Party treasure. Over 20 Henfield shops are participating. You’ll find all sorts of things; from top hats, teacups and ‘drink me’ bottles to the Cheshire Cat. You might even find Alice herself!

Queen of Hearts Jam Tart Competition
Children’s Queen of Hearts Jam Tart competition.
There are three age categories: 5 and under, 8 and under and 12 and under. Please use an adult helper for the tricky parts too! You can be as creative as you wish – tarts will be judged for appearance, creativity and taste. Bake as many as you wish, but please only bring four jam tarts for judging, covered in cling film on a plate (paper preferably) marked with your name, age category and a phone number. Bring your delicious creations to the HenFood Queen of Hearts Tent in the Library Car Park on Saturday 10 September by 2pm. The winners will be announced later in the afternoon! Prizes for each age, winners will receive a baking-themed goodie bag from Henfield Furnishings & Cook Shop.
Mad Hatter Cupcake Decorating
! Professional cake decorator Kayleigh is running 15-minute workshops for those who would like to try their hand with a piping bag. Pictures of the very best cakes will be posted on Facebook for voting and the winner will receive a decorating kit from Kaylee’s Cakery.
