Jeremy’s Two
Those of you who love good food will love Jeremy’s Two in Cowfold. Packed with delicious British produce from Sussex as well as further afield, if you haven’t visited yet you’re a missing a real treat!
Run by local Greengrocer Jeremy Shotter who also runs the successful Jeremy's of Henfield, who has over 30 years’ experience in the fruit and vegetable trade, Jeremy’s Two is a traditional farm shop with a wide range of fresh and preserved food.
As well as fresh fruit and vegetables, Jeremy’s Two stocks specialist bread from Brighton, organic milk and dairy produce from Chichester, local beer, wine and cider, fine cheeses and award-winning Sussex chocolates, as well as teas, coffees, jams and chutneys. Pescatarian’s are well catered for as the fish van visits every Thursday with a wide range of fish fish available.
New for 2018 is the in-house butchery run by two familiar faces, Eddie and Pete who you will recognise from the former Henfield butchers. Eddie and Pete have a huge amount of experience between them and are introducing new cuts and items on a weekly basis, including fresh sausage made on the premises. Much of the fresh meat is supplied from Horsham, but they also stock local turkeys and the ever popular Scottish beef.
Many of their suppliers are local which is great for keeping the food miles down, but the real focus is finding quality, independent suppliers. “We like to support small British businesses and you won’t find any of our products in any supermarkets” said Jeremy.
Like its sister shop Jeremy’s in Henfield, Jeremy’s Two is a family run shop with a real close-knit team headed up by shop manager Emma. “We’ve had a fantastic response from the local community and customers have given us some really lovely feedback” said Jeremy. “Creating a friendly environment is really important to us and we love it when our customers stop to chat to our team. If there is anything you would like us to try and source, just ask and we will do our best to find it!”
