Back in March Linda Ryan, General Manager of Red Oaks, asked the Henfield Shed to work on a project to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee. Together we decided to build a Royal Carriage that could be used by the residents of Red Oaks and the wider village community to sit in and have their pictures taken. The carriage was the biggest single project Henfield Shed have completed to date. It took two months to plan and build using only recycled plywood and timber. The project was led by Tim Perrin and in total 16 Shedders worked on the carriage build - a great team effort. It was taken to Red Oaks on the back of a trailer, the wheels were then attached into place ready for the Jubilee festivities. Given the feedback we have received via social media, everybody loved it!
