When we heard that the Royal British Legion were short of poppy collectors in Henfield we were pleased to step in, Henfield Youth Club members and volunteers took to the streets for door to door collecting in the week before Remembrance Sunday.
Our members also created a poppy display and a wreath which was laid at the War Memorial on Remembrance Sunday.
Thank you to everyone who kindly donated and bought poppies. It was a very wet evening and the team returned soaked, but happy to have helped for such a good cause.
