Our library stocks in excess of 12,000 fiction and nonfiction books, along with a lovely children’s corner where they can enjoy choosing their own books.
There is a selection of DVDs and CDs to borrow and e-publications available online including newspapers and magazines. The library also has access to a wide range of local and council information, local events and issues, maps, photos, historical information and so much more so ask if you can’t find what you are looking for.
We host a range of both seasonal and regular activities in the library, pop in or call us to find out what's on at the moment!
For those with difficulty getting to the library, we offer a free delivery service, provided by our friendly volunteers. If you are interested in this Home Library Direct service, speak to the library staff who can tell you about the service and give you an application form.
To take advantage of all these resources and more, why not pop in with some ID and sign up for free or renew your membership. If you would like to offer some time or skills as a volunteer have a chat with one of the staff. Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, learn new skills and contribute to your local community. Our library is a true community hub with a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.
