It has been 23 years since a panto last entertained the folk of Partridge Green but that is about to change! In February 2023 The PG Players will be staging their very own home-grown production: “Cinders - the panto that rocks!”
This modern-day panto is a riotous combination of hilarity, high drama and music and has been created and written by PG’s own Drew Richardson. Liz Ganney is directing a cast of many, involving several new faces as well as an enthusiastic group of children.
Set in a school suffering from under-funding, Cinders is a hard-working teacher who, together with Headmaster Hard-up, is trying to make ends meet. Can Buttons (the caretaker) foil the dastardly plans of the evil Offsted Inspectors (Mrs Cross and Mrs Blackwell) to cause the demise of the school so that they can sell the land and become millionaires?! Will Cinders finally have her eyes opened to the charms of Buttons? Come and find out the answers to these conundrums – and many more!
Tickets are £10 for adults, £5 for children (16 and under) and £25 for a family ticket of 2 adults and 2 children. There will be a bar and raffle to make your evening complete.
