The group welcomes Alan Barwick to present his talk about Michael Fairless (pen name) the author of the Roadmender, and other books, who died at Mockbridge House in 1910. The Roadmender book was a best seller in its day and had many reprints. All are invited to share in the mysterious author's life and how as a woman wrote books under her pen name.
